Charlotte L. Slaugenhoup, 88, of 127 Acme St., Rimersburg, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Clarion Hospital.

Born Jan. 10, 1919, in West Monterey, she was the daughter of Jacob and Grace Crispin Clark.

She was a member of the Rimersburg United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Slaugenhoup enjoyed sewing, crocheting and baking.

Her husband, Roy E. Slaugenhoup, whom she married May 3, 1941, died Nov. 15, 1992.

Surviving are three daughters, Judith Switzer of Manchester, Conn., Patricia Berlin of Turkey City and June Schultz of East Hartford, Conn.; a son, Ronald R. Slaugenhoup of New Bethlehem; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a brother, Howard Clark of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

<B>Slaugenhoup</B> — Friends of Charlotte L. Slaugenhoup, who died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, will be received from 2 to<B> </B>4<B> </B>and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Varner Funeral Home</B>, Rimersburg.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Brock Beveridge, her church pastor, officiating.Burial will follow at the Rimersburg Cemetery.
