Lloyd W. Strauser

Lloyd W. Strauser, 91, of Cabot died Wednesday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center,Natrona Heights.

Born Aug. 7, 1914, in Philadelphia, he was the son of Harry and Dirgie Becchel Strauser.

He retired as a city fireman for Philadelphia.

Mr. Strauser was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

He was a World War II Navy veteran and belonged to the American Legion.

He enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are a cousin, Dorothy Kreps of Davidsville, Somerset County, and a number of nieces and nephews.

His wife, Margaret Koegler Strauser, died Dec. 20, 2002. Three brothers, Calvin, Harry and Walter Strauser, also preceded him in death.

<B>STRAUSER</B> — Services for Lloyd W. Strauser, who died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, PA 16023; or Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 615 N. Pike Road Cabot, PA 16023.
