Severe weather could impact communities east of Butler County on Monday
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh announced a severe weather outlook for Monday, June 26 that could affect areas directly east of Butler County.
Damaging winds, large hail and isolated flash flooding could come into play between 4 and 8 p.m. on Monday.
Butler County is classified as unlikely to see severe weather, but areas just east, including Armstrong County, are classified at a Level risk, which means a lower confidence in severe storms occurring according to the National Weather Service.
Residents in and around these areas are urged to monitor latest forecasts and to make sure they can receive watches and or warnings.
