Alberta M. Hilliard
Alberta M. (Jamison) Hilliard, 87, formerly of Dick Road, Butler, passed away Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.
She was born July 15, 1923, in Clintonville and was the daughter of Plummer and Olive Hooven Jamison.
During World War II, she worked as a crane operator for Armco.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel R. Hilliard of Sunnyview; one daughter, Susan E. Hilliard of Slippery Rock; two sons, Robert K. Hilliard of Butler and Ronald L. Hilliard of Chicora; seven grandchildren, Michael (Lori) Hilliard, Luke Hilliard, Sara (Bryan) Griest, Megan (Chance) Rummel, James (Amanda) Mackalica Jr., Rebecca Hilliard and Daniel Hilliard; five great-grandchildren, Jacob and Elizabeth Hilliard, Paige Griest, and Ecklund and Corrissa Rummel; and two brothers, Burton Jamison of Maryland and Plummer Jamison of North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
<B>HILLIARD </B>— Visitation for Alberta M. (Jamison) Hilliard, who died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Pascae, hospice chaplain, officiating.
