Charles Claypoole

Charles J. Claypoole Jr., 57, of Butler passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 19, 1955. He was the son of Charles J. Claypoole Sr. and the late Etta A. Clawges.

He enjoyed playing scratch off tickets and playing games on his computer. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Poohbear, and, of course, his family. He was a loving son, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and, most of all, father.

He is survived by a son, Thomas Zeigler of Butler; a daughter, Crystal Kerchersky and her husband, Ryan Kerchersky, of Butler; five grandchildren, Matthew Zeigler, Talon Zeigler, Ryan Kerchersky Jr., Brooklynn Kerchersky and Savannah Miller; two brothers, Boldy Claypoole, and his wife, Bonnie Claypoole, of Butler and Jack Claypoole of Butler; four sisters, Rachel Rhinebolt and her husband, Jeff Rhinebolt, of Butler, Kathy Hilliard and her husband, Joe Hilliard, of Chicora, Mickey Blystone of Butler and Diana (Gidget) Everetts also of Butler.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepsister, Judy Ealy.

CLAYPOOLE — Arrangements for Charles J. Claypoole Jr., who passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, are being made by family.
