Rena Stella Traggiai Minteer

Rena Stella Traggiai Minteer, 73, of East Butler passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

She was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Cabot to the late Americo “Ham” Traggiai and the late Nora Paganelli Traggiai.

Mrs.

Minteer was a graduate of Knoch High School. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Rena was a homemaker who enjoyed spending her time cooking, gardening, solving puzzles and visiting casinos, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, who she married April 2, 1964; three daughters, Michelle Tomasovic and her husband, Steve, of Butler, Christine Morgan and her husband, Brian, of Butler and Jodi Scarnato and her husband, Jared, of Butler; one son, Keith Minteer and his wife, Lisa, of East Butler; six grandchildren, Tyler and Ben Morgan, Hunter and Matthew Minteer and Damian and Gabriella Scarnato; two brothers, Regis Traggiai and his wife, Bette Jo, of Marwood, and Robert Traggiai and his wife, Irene, of Cabot; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Traggiai of West Sunbury and Eleanor Traggiai of Cabot; one brother-in-law, Jay Minteer of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Rita Negley, and her husband, Lou; two brothers, Ronald Traggiai and Richard Traggiai; and her sister-in-law, Rose Minteer.

MINTEER — There will be no visitation for Rena Stella Traggiai Minteer, who died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016.A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating. Burial will take place at the Lawn Haven Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to one of the following: the Good Samaritan Hospice, 112 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 333 E.
