McCarty

Marjorie H. McCarty, 83, of Mars, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, July 11, 2023, at her home.

Born in Richmond, N.Y. on Sept. 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Bertrand and Mildred Bennett McDonall.

Marjorie had been a registered nurse and then became an episcopal priest.

She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in North Hills.

Surviving are her children, Kerry McCarty (Candy), of Mooresville, N.C., Keith McCarty (Pam), of North Hills, Merritt Fasick (Jack), of Valencia, and Kelly Ackerson, of Mooresville, N.C.; also 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Jack McDonall.

MCCARTY — Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church, 5910 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh. Please meet at the church.
