One injured in motorcycle crash at Moraine

WORTH TWP — One man was reported injured in a motorcycle accident at Moraine State Park just before 2 p.m. Sunday, July 16.

The crash occurred on Shore Drive near the park’s water treatment plant. Early reports stated that the man was in an “altered level of consciousness” by the time paramedics arrived.

The man was transported by ambulance to Lakeview Beach at Moraine that was a landing spot for the incoming LifeFlight helicopter, which transported him to a local hospital.

Units from the Portersville-Muddy Creek EMS and Slippery Rock Ambulance assisted at the scene.

The person’s identity and the extent of the injuries are not yet known.
