Butler school board approves buyback vendor for electronics
BUTLER TWP — The Butler Area School District school board approved Greensburg-based AGiRepair as a vendor to purchase its used iPads and Chromebooks during its meeting, Monday, July 17.
“It’s not due to a better price; it’s due to the fact that they’re in state, and there’s no shipping costs,” said Heather Bonzo, director of finance and operations. “The price is a scale based on the condition of the iPads and Chromebooks.”
The buyback price is determined by the vendor upon review of the electronic. According to the vendor’s buyback quote, fourth-generation iPads and older would be recycled.
