Laurie Ann Eck
Laurie Ann Ross Eck, 47, of Espyville, Crawford County, passed away peacefully in her sleep Oct. 1 at her home.
Born in Butler, Feb. 15, 1963, she was the daughter of Phyllis Vicari Ross Trinkley and the late Charles Ross.
Laurie was a graduate of the Lenape School of Nursing. She worked as a licensed practical nurse in Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas and Virginia.
Laurie enjoyed spending time at the lake and boating, was an avid Steelers' fan, loved to cook, and crocheted afghans as gifts for others. Her most enjoyable time was spending time with her family, especially her mother.
Laurie was kindhearted and caring. She assisted neighbors in need, especially the elderly.
Laurie will be missed by all.
Laurie is survived by her mother, Phyllis, and her stepfather, James Trinkley, of Butler; daughters, Sarah Garrison and Jessica Eck of Middleburg, Fla.; a granddaughter, Hailey Garrison of Middleburg; a sister, Lisa Love, and a brother-in-law, Paul, of West Sunbury; brothers, Barry Stein of Butler, William Stein of the United Kingdom, and Charles Ross (Sue) of Fenelton; her husband, George Eck; a niece, Jennifer Love; nephews, Paul Love and Justin Ross; and uncles, aunts and cousins.
<B>ECK</B> — Memorial services for family and friends of Laurie Ann Ross Eck, who died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, will be Sunday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at the home of Paul and Lisa Love at 131 McGregor Road, Butler, with a pastor from the Slippery Rock Baptist Church officiating.
