Hanna

Patricia L. Hanna, 85, of Liberty Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Continuing Health Care of Niles.

Patricia was born April 26, 1938, in Sandy Hollow, Pa., a daughter to the late Rev. Clarence and Helen (Mahood) Snyder.

She had worked for Packard Electric for many years until her retirement.

Patricia was a member of Church of God of Prophecy and enjoyed going to the church teas. Beyond her love for shopping, she enjoyed traveling to Daytona Beach with her husband, John.

Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, John Hanna, whom she married July 26, 1957; her children, Mike (Tammie) Hanna, of Liberty Township and Dena Smith (Chuck Ross), of Hubbard; sisters, Audrey Gill, Ginger (Don) Ealy and Cheri (Dana) Caldwell; brother, Gary (Cindy) Snyder; grandchildren, Jason (Kari) Smith, Elizabeth (Ryan) Murphy and Samantha (Brian) Pearson; and great-grandchildren, Mya, Nya, Emma, Hanna, Cora, Rory, Margaret and a baby girl on the way.

Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Dolores Shirey and Donna Risch-Knight; and a brother, Donald Snyder.

Private services will be held.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospital and Continuing Health Care of Niles for their tender care of Patricia in her time of need.
