Donna L. Yates

Donna Louise Yates, 62, of Isle Road died Thursday at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Jan. 2, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Betty Jane Kinson Yates.

She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was also a foster parent for Children and Youth Services of Butler County.

Ms. Yates was Roman Catholic.

Surviving are four sons, Robert E. Rhoades and his wife, Deborah and James W., Kenneth J. and Harvey L. Yates, all of Butler; four daughters, Jennifer L., Virginia A. "Ginny" and Dusty L. Yates, all of Butler, and Rhoda Yates, with the Army; and five grandchildren, Steven Miller, Alisha and Brandi Sobotka and Megan Bonanni and Courtney Rihel.

She also is survived by a brother, William C. Yates Jr. of North Hills; a sister, Sandra Smith of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A daughter, Cheryl Ann Miller, died Jan. 20, 1997.

<B>YATES </B>— Friends of Donna Louise Yates, who died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
