Miller Minutes

Miller Minutes with Butler Eagle reporter, Molly Miller

Did anyone's parents take an excessive amount of photos of them as a child?

Mine did. I look back on these photos often, and as much as children may hate having their picture taken, I think they’ll grow to appreciate the artistry of each photo. I certainly do.

In these childhood photos, I can usually pick out where I was. We have family photos at the Butler Farm Show, the Independence Day Parade, hay rides, etc. You name it, the Miller family was probably there.

Photography is an art I’ve had to pick up since entering journalism, and it brings me great joy to see people enjoying themselves at events I cover.

I hope some of those moments I capture on an assignment are cherished by the people in them. And I hope the rest of you will take a moment to document when you are at an event in Butler. There’s plenty of opportunities to this weekend.
