Saige Austin Knapp
Saige Austin Knapp, 26, of Cabot passed away Saturday.
Born March 31, 1991, in Butler, he was the son of Regis Knapp Jr. and Patricia Miller Knapp.
Saige had worked as a laborer for United Plate Glass. He enjoyed writing and music. Saige would want you to know that he was more than just an addict. He was kind, smart, creative; he was an able writer and an agile thinker. He had a natural ability to light up a room with his camaraderie and his witty sense of humor. He loved his daughter so much that he wanted her to have a better chance at a happy, healthy future. He was a compassionate friend, a sweet, loving young man who could have set the world ablaze. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Miller Knapp of Cabot; his father, Regis D. (Kathryn Snow) Knapp Jr. of Saxonburg; his brother, Shane Knapp of Cabot; his sister, Shelby (fiancé, Wayne Lonce) Knapp of Sewickley; his daughter, Ava Knapp; his maternal grandfather, Homer R. Miller Jr. of Cabot; his paternal grandfather, Regis Knapp Sr. of Alto, Ga.; his paternal grandmother, Patricia (Steven) Paulovich of Cabot; and many aunts uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Grace P. Miller Weismantle.
KNAPP — Friends of Saige Austin Knapp, who died Saturday, June 24, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church with Carmen Shullo officiating.
