Excessive rainfall possible in region
There is a slight risk for severe weather and excessive rainfall tonight for portions of Butler County, according to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh.
The affected area includes all of northern Butler County and stretches into the western portion of the county. The remaining portion of Butler County is under a lesser marginal risk.
The primary threat could be damaging winds and flash flooding, while isolated tornadoes and large hail are also possible, according to a post to X, the social media website formerly known as Twitter, by the National Weather Service Pittsburgh.
