Pauline V. “Polly” Kenyon, 89, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Pauline was born in Patton, Cambria County, on June 28, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Santo and Mary Delia Rogers.

She was a graduate of Butler High School, an active member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the 55 and Alive of St. Michael's and the Tanglewood Center, where she was a member of a line-dancing group.

She was retired from the Faith United Presbyterian Church, where she was employed as a secretary for 18 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Kenyon Czzowitz and her husband, Lewis, of Butler; her three sons, David Kenyon and his wife, Cynthia, of Chesterfield, Mo., Daniel Kenyon of Avon, Ind., and Joseph “Chip” Kenyon and his wife, Barbara, of Barrington, N.J.; her eight grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Kenyon, who passed away on July 10, 1984; eight brothers; and five sisters.

Kenyon— The friends of Pauline V. “Polly” Kenyon, who passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023, or to the Butler Public Library, 218 N.
