Delia 'Della' B. Kenyon

Delia "Della" B. Kenyon, 79, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a long-term illness.

Born May 9, 1929, in Blairsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Maria Frassenei Chenet.

She was a homemaker.

A member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, she was active at her church, teaching Sunday school.

She was a former member of the Italian Club, and she was a former Scout den mother.

She is survived by her husband, Donald D. Kenyon, whom she married May 22, 1954; two sons, Dennis Kenyon and his wife, Terri, of Butler and Douglas Kenyon and his wife, Renee, of Butler; one sister, Mrs. Alma Evanick of Butler; and four grandchildren, Steven Kenyon of Butler, Samuel Kenyon of Butler, Matthew Kenyon of Butler and Michelle Kenyon of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Chenet.

<B>KENYON</B> — Friends of Delia "Della" B. Kenyon, who died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., with the Rev. Deacon Tara Jernigan officiating. Burial will be in the Butler County Memorial Park cemetery.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
