Delia "Della" B. Kenyon, 79, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a long-term illness.

Born May 9, 1929, in Blairsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Maria Frassenei Chenet.

She was a homemaker.

A member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, she was active at her church, teaching Sunday school.

She was a former member of the Italian Club, and she was a former Scout den mother.

She is survived by her husband, Donald D. Kenyon, whom she married May 22, 1954; two sons, Dennis Kenyon and his wife, Terri, of Butler and Douglas Kenyon and his wife, Renee, of Butler; one sister, Mrs. Alma Evanick of Butler; and four grandchildren, Steven Kenyon of Butler, Samuel Kenyon of Butler, Matthew Kenyon of Butler and Michelle Kenyon of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Chenet.

<B>KENYON</B> — Friends of Delia "Della" B. Kenyon, who died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E.
