Mary S. Michaels, 90, formerly of Butler, died July 23 in Conyers, Ga.

She was the daughter of Michael and Mary Stavar.

She was a homemaker and a mother.

Mrs. Michaels was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. She also was a member of the church Ladies Guild and the Highfield Ladies Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Michaels; two brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving are her son, Myron Michaels and his wife, Glenda, of Conyers, Ga.; a sister, Marge Brennan of Scottsdale Ariz., and many nieces and nephews.

<B>MICHAELS </B>— A memorial service for Mary S. Michaels, who died Thursday, July 23, 2009, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lyndora. Inurnment will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
