Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Wednesday in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Timothy McCune.

Derek Lewis Linkenheimer, 27, of Zelienople, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and given credit for having already served 128 days. He was ordered to continue mental health treatment and pay $1,339 in restitution to the Zelienople Police Department after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief filed by Zelienople police following a July 20, 2022, incident.

Mariah Alexis Schrubb, 23, of Grove City, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation, pay a $50 fine, and continue mental health and drug and alcohol treatment after pleading guilty to charges of recklessly endangering anther person and harassment filed by state police following a Dec. 2 incident in Slippery Rock Township.

Robert Lee Simpson Jr., 29, of Evans City, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation, including 120 days of house arrest, after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver filed by county detectives following a Jan. 19 incident in Callery.

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley Streib.

Matthew Austin Thomas, 34, of Valencia, was sentenced to serve 11 months and 29 days to 23 months and 28 days in the county prison and pay $200 in fines and $2,665 in restitution to Boscov’s after pleading guilty to a felony retail theft charge and two misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance in two separate cases. Adams Township police filed the drug charges following a March 10, 2022, incident and state police filed the theft charge following an Aug. 13, 2022, incident in Center Township.

Thomas Lee Shuler, 37, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six to 18 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve six months of house arrest and fined $100 after pleading guilty to a simple assault charge filed by filed by state police following a Sept. 12, 2022, incident in Summit Township.

Raymond Dale McIntyre, 29, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 11 months and 15 days to 23 months in the county prison followed by 12 months of probation and fined $100 after pleading guilty to a felony charge of fleeing from police and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance filed by Butler City police following a Feb. 9 incident.

Sal Joseph Martin, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 84 months of probation, including 18 months of house arrest, pay fines totaling $5,000, complete 40 hours of community service and pay $421 in restitution after pleading guilty to his third driving under the influence offense and driving with suspended license filed by Middlesex Township police following a crash on May 14, 2022.

Dion J. Crawford Jr., 28, of Duquesne in Allegheny County, was sentenced to serve six months to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but was immediately paroled and ordered to pay $6,225 in restitution to Best Buy after pleading guilty to felony retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft charges filed by Cranberry Township police following a Nov. 21, incident.

Timothy James McCullough, 28, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but was immediately paroled and ordered to pay $359 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit retail theft filed by Butler Township police following an Oct. 11 incident.

Chad Alan Wimer, 32, of Portersville, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay $850 in restitution after pleading guilty to two counts of theft and two counts of defiant trespassing filed by state police in two separate incidents in Jan. 27, 2022, and Feb. 2, 2022, in Muddy Creek Township.

Janet Elaine Greenley, 45, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation and pay $100 in fines after pleading guilty to three disorderly conduct charges filed by Butler City police following a May 31, 2022, incident.

Lisa Pauline Smith, 50, of Youngstown, Ohio, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay $35 in restitution to Tobacco for Less after pleading guilty to charges of retail theft and defiant trespassing filed by Butler City police following a July 2, 2022, incident.

Megan Lorraine Donnelly, 36, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and 20 hours of community service and pay $65 in restitution to Rite Aid after pleading guilty to a charge of retail theft filed by Adams Township police following a July 7, 2022, incident.

Evan Robert Wolfinger, 27, of Valencia, was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 60 days of house arrest, pay a $750 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to his second DUI offense filed by Penn Township police following a Nov. 24, 2022, incident.

Leighton O. Thorpe Jr., 31, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 48 months of probation, complete a parenting class and pay $510 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to two counts of recklessly endangering another person, retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft filed in two separate cases. Butler Township police filed the theft charges following a June 13, 2021, incident and Penn Township police filed the reckless endangerment charges following a March 9, 2022, incident.

Jessica Lee Custer, 54, of Hilliards, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle filed by state police following an Aug. 26, 2022, incident in Parker Township.

Sierra Lynn Summers, 28, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Butler Township police following a Dec. 6, 2021, incident.

Brandi Marie Schaas, 29, of Wampum in Lawrence County, was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 25 days of house arrest; pay a $1,000 fine; and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by Cranberry Township police following an Aug. 17, 2022, incident.

Brett Douglas Charlier, 32, of Ellwood City in Lawrence County, was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 30 days of house arrest; pay a $1,000 fine; and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by Lancaster Township police following a March 2, 2019, incident.
