Paula A. “Toni” Ament

Paula A. “Toni” Ament, 71, of Buffalo Township passed away Monday peacefully at her home.

Toni was born in Latrobe, Feb. 18, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Annabelle (Johnson) and James B. Corna.

Paula was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of Natrona Heights VFW auxiliary Post 894 and the spousal member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 644.

She enjoyed playing bingo, trips to the casino and watching the Steelers and Penguins.

Toni is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Ament; her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel E. and Marcia Ament of Ligonier; her grandson, Anthony Richard Ament; two granddaughters, Kylee Rae Ament and Leah Specht; and her sister, Deborah Corna of Ligonier.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Ament; two brothers, James and Daniel Corna; and her sister, Alice Kobistek.

AMENT — Family and friends of Paula A. “Toni” Ament, who died Monday, April 2, 2018, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport.Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Jocelyn Johnston of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be held in Sarverville Cemetery in Buffalo Township.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 644, 219 E. 6th Ave., Tarentum, PA 15084, or Natrona Heights VFW Post 894, 894 Veterans Lane, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.To send a condolence, visit www.redmondfuneralhomeinc.com.
