Phillip E. Bruno

Phillip E. Bruno, 77, of Butler passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born in Butler on April 1, 1941, he was the son of the late Julius and Frances Bruno.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a retired marketing director at Industrial Appraisal Co.

He was a member of the Sons of Italy.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Martha Lubynsky; one son, Jeffrey Bruno and his wife, Alysia, of Belford, N.J.; one daughter, Anita Morrill and her husband, Steve, of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Carol Lepore and her husband, Michael, of Butler; three grandsons, Anthony Edwards, Alexander Edwards and Nicholas Edwards; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Misha.

BRUNO — Friends of Phillip E. Bruno, who died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, will be received at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m.Military honors will be accorded at the church by VFW Post 249 of Butler, American Legion Post 778 of Butler and American Legion Post 117 of Lyndora.The family requests memorial donations to American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave., Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.Funeral arrangements by MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
