Emma Dora Mustello

Emma Dora Mustello, 99, formerly of Elm Street, Butler, passed away Tuesday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 25, 1916, in Curtisville, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Revelli Malvarose.

The widow of Ralph D. Mustello, they were married May 31, 1935, and he died Sept. 5, 1982. She was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Emma was a lifelong member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She had been a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital, and in her younger years had been an active bowler and golfer. She enjoyed baking and had won an award for her pound cake at the McHenry County Fair in Chicago in 2008.

Surviving are her two sons, Ralph Mustello and his wife, Anita; and Ronald J. Mustello, all of Butler; three granddaughters, Michele Mustello (Alan) Dodd of Chicora, Mary Jo (Ralph) Losch of Chicago and Marci Mustello of Butler; and four great-grandchildren, Anchor, Belle, Caravel and Diesel.

MUSTELLO — There will be no public visitation for Emma Dora Mustello, who died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015.Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either the Butler Area Meals on Wheels program or the Butler County Humane Society.Arrangements are entrusted to the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
