Helen Smith
Helen Smith, 93, of Cabot died Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born May 14, 1924, in Russellton, Pa., she was the daughter of Walentino Mazurek and Anastazia Bazylto Mazurek.
Helen was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. She enjoyed shopping and dressing up until the very end.
Surviving are her children, James V. (Mary Ann) Smith of Lyndora, Victor L. (Denise) Smith of Cabot, Patty Jo (Alan) Kelley of Sarver, and Carl P. (Marjorie) Smith of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry J. Smith; one son, Joe; her twin sister, Stella Chatary; and seven other brothers and sisters.
