Nicholas Warhola

Nicholas Warhola, 85, of Lyndora passed away Monday at his home.

Born Dec. 29, 1929, in Butler, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Prexta) Warhola.

He was employed as a manager by the Liquor Control Board for nearly 30 years.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church in Lyndora. He also was a member of the VFW, the American Legion Post 778, Butler City Hunting and Fishing and the Summit Township Sportsman's clubs. He enjoyed trapping, hunting and fishing.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Mary Stewart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny, Michael and Stephan Warhola; and his sisters, Molly Trotta, Margaret Hamlett, Helen Warhola and Mary Zaliponi.

WARHOLA — There will be no public visitation for Nicholas Warhola, who died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015.
