Paul Leroy Graham

Surrounded by his loving family, Paul Leroy Graham, 64, of Renfrew died at 9:50 a.m. Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot.

Born Sept. 25, 1945, he was the son of the late Paul N. Graham and the late Ruth V. Wigton Graham.

Mr. Graham was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church of Meridian. He was a 1963 graduate of Butler High School.

He enjoyed building model ships from scratch, gardening, fishing, hunting, casinos and going to camp for 41 years in Benezette, Pa. with his family. He also took great pride in the fishing trips with his grandchildren, who would catch more fish than him. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Graham retired in 2001 from AK Steel, Hilltop Silicon Department, after more than 37 years.

He was a member of the Butler Moose Lodge 64, the Slovak Sokol Society, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 249 in Butler, the Sons of the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora, the Butler Elks 170, the Italian Society, Colonie Luxenbourgeoise, the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Association in Sinnemahoning, Pa., AARP and the National Rifle Association.

Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) M. (Kalina) Graham of Butler, who he married at St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora on May 13, 1967; one daughter, Sharon E, Christy and her husband, Brian L., of Butler; and one son, Andrew P. Graham and his wife, Laura J., of Cabot.

Mr. Graham also is survived by six grandchildren, Jessica A. Clouse Graham, Travis R. Ritenour, Troy Ritenour, Alexandra M. Graham, Breann Christy and Ryan Christy; one brother, Dennis L. Graham and his wife, Gloria J., of Butler, and a number of sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Karen Louise Graham, who passed away March 25, 1953.

<B>GRAHAM</B> — Friends of Paul Leroy Graham, who died Friday, May 21, 2010, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. James F. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
