Rekich

Mary E. Rekich, 80, of Butler died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 20, 1927, she was a daughter of Daniel R. and Georgia Hale Kelly.

She was a homemaker and mother as well as a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.

Her husband, John S. Rekich, who she married Dec. 1, 1947, survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Marianne) Long of Butler; two sons, John A. Rekich of Lyndora and Jim D. Rekich of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Theresa) Freemon of Butler; five grandchildren, R.J., Amber, Ryan, Brandon and Alyssa, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

<B>REKICH</B> — Friends of Mary E. Rekich, who died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora with the Rev. George Palick officiating.
