George Fejko
George Fejko, 73, of Butler died at 1:40 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born on March 1, 1933, in Lyndora, the son of the late Andrew and Ellen (Demyanovich) Fejko.
Mr. Fejko retired from Service Star after 30 years in the truck driving division. He was active in the Masons, the William H. Miller Lodge 769. He was also an active member in the Highfield Community Center for 40 years.
He enjoyed driving excursions and spending time with his family.
He served in the military.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne Cawthorne Fejko, whom he married in Lyndora at St. Andrews Orthodox Church on Sept. 26, 1956; two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Stockard and her husband Thomas of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Georgeanne "Gigi" Fejko of Butler; two sisters, Marge Fejko of Penn Hills and Mary Penar of Kentucky; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Allen C. Fejko, three sisters and a brother.
