Louis B. Biffaretti

Louis B. Biffaretti, 68, of Lyndora died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.

Born March 14, 1937, in Lyndora, he was the son of Irene Kovach Biffaretti and the late Bernard Biffaretti.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Mr. Biffaretti had worked out of the Butler Local of the Laborers Union for 35 years.

He enjoyed bowling in various leagues. He also enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City.

Surviving are his mother Butler; two daughters, Mrs. David (Sondra) Heitzer of Sarver and Mrs. Ronald (Cathy) Gibson of Evans City; two sons, Dale Biffaretti of California and Louie Biffaretti of Lyndora; and eight grandchildren. He also is survived by a sister, Julie Anne Morabito of Butler; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and two infant granddaughters.

BIFFARETTI — Friends of Louis B. Biffaretti, who died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
