Ethel F. Lantz

Ethel F. Stevenson Lantz, 63, of Butler died Thursday at her home.

She was born July 3, 1941, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harry and the late Goldie Bowser Stevenson.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed bingo, crosswords and reading.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Rebecca) Miller of Butler, Mrs. William (Susan) Shaffer of New York, Mrs. Vernon "Jerry" (Goldie) Deal of Lyndora, Gale Velmer of Butler and Mrs. David (Phyllis "Chrissy") Gallagher of Butler; three sisters, Lois Callahan of Butler, Mrs. Charles (Beatrice) Burns of Prospect and Mrs. Nick (Garnet) Wdovin of Butler, and four brothers, Ike Stevenson of Butler, Harry Stevenson of Butler, William Stevenson of Nebraska and Richard Stevenson of Butler.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, an infant son, a granddaughter and two sisters.

LANTZ - Friends of Ethel F. Stevenson Lantz, who died Thursday, April 21, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Matthew Perkins, officiating.
