Kaye I. Ritson Pollack

Kaye I. Ritson Pollack, 63, of Butler died at 4:50 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 10, 1942, in Butler, she was the daughter of Edith Beatty Winters of Butler and the late William Winters.

She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Pollack retired as a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital after 32 years.

She was an avid golfer and belonged to the Oakview Golf Club. She also was a member of AARP, the Loyal Order of Moose and was a past president of the Pennsylvania Nurses Association.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, William E. Pollack, whom she married in June 1992; two sons, Keith Ritson of Farrell and Doug Ritson of Butler; a stepson, Kevin Pollack of Slippery Rock; a stepdaughter, Colleen Pollack of Palmetto, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

An uncle preceded her in death.

POLLACK — There will be no visitation. Services for Kaye I. Ritson Pollack, who died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Strobel, interim church pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th St. NW, Washington, DC 20006.Arrangements are being handled by the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME; and information also is available atwww.youngfuneralhomes.com.
