Richard Charles “Richie” Orlowski III, 65, of Butler passed away Friday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Jan. 3, 1949, in Pittsburgh to Richard C. Orlowski, Jr. and the late Marilyn (Krawf) Orlowski.

Mr. Orlowski worked as a U.S. Postal Service mail handler for the Bulk Mail Center (NDC) for almost 40 years.

Mr. Orlowski is survived by his father, Richard Orlowski and his wife, Ruth; one son, Adam Orlowski of Butler; one daughter, Jeanne Bondi and her husband, Greg, of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Amelia, Caroline and Hannah Bondi; and one nephew, Bryan Salerno and his wife, Leeann.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia J. (Smith) Orlowski, who passed away July 15, 2012; his mother, Marilyn (Krawf) Orlowski; and his sister, Patricia Salerno.
