In honor of National Manufacturing Day, Butler Technologies held an open house event on Friday, Oct. 6, to show recognition to its employees and introduce to the community what the business and industry have to offer.

Butler Technologies, 231 W Wayne St., Butler, is an engineering and design-driven manufacturer that specializes in printing, fabricating and assembling custom products.

During the open house on Friday, guests were able to receive a tour of the facility and talk to employees about what it's like to work for one of Butler County's many manufacturers.

The 33-year-old manufacturer's products range from printed flexible electronics, flexible hybrid electronics, membrane switches, graphic overlays, labeling, gauge graphics, insulators and electronic shielding layers.

National Manufacturing Day is held every year on the first Friday in October, which serves as a way for manufacturers to showcase the potential of modern manufacturing and foster interest in manufacturing careers.
