Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Sept. 22 — Travis M. Brown, 34, of Enon Valley, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with suspected crack cocaine, a metal spoon, glass pipes and multiple syringes.

Sept. 18 — Olivia K. Hopper, 20, of Butler, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her Aug. 6 on East Campbell Street. Police said a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.288% with traces of gabapentin. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler County Detectives

Sept. 22 — Antonio J. Hillman, 41, of Butler, was charged with felonies drug sales and possession of a prohibited firearm. Police said he sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant and was found with a handgun and funds from the sale.

Oct. 5 — Izaik Treadway, 20, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor fleeing an officer and several traffic citations after police stopped him Aug. 17 on Route 68. Police said he failed to yield for a traffic stop and had invalid insurance, inspection and registration on his motorcycle. Police said he was also operating his motorcycle with a passenger with only a learner’s permit.

Oct. 5 — Donald E. Martin, 46, of Coraopolis, was charged with felony theft and misdemeanor false identification to an officer. Police said he took a wallet with contents over $3,000.

Sept. 22 — William J. Derrick, 42, of Butler, and Tashawa L. Francis, 31, of Butler, were charged with misdemeanors conspiracy and theft. Police said they left Target on several occasions with $364, $439 and $449 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Sept. 21 — Allison L. Schrey, 24, of Evans City, was charged with eluding an officer and several traffic citations. Police said she failed to yield for a traffic stop Sept. 3 on Fairground Hill Road.

Sept. 21 — William J. Derrick, 42, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said Derrick left Tractor Supply with $699 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Cranberry Twp

Sept. 21 — Jean M. Kwizera, 39, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after she crashed her vehicle Aug. 6 at Freshcorn Road and Heights Drive. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.221%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 21 — Shawn T. McCune, 25, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Sept. 9 on Route 19. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.230%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 20 — Thomas A. Meyrick, 58, of Meadville, was charged with felony theft. Police said he left Walmart with $359 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Sept. 20 — David E. Anderson, 57, of New Kensington, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after police stopped him Aug. 31 on Route 228.

Pennsylvania Office of State Inspector General

Sept. 22 — Patricia L. Roth, 37, of Butler, was charged with felony fraud. Police said she failed to report a second income for her household and received $13,000 in SNAP benefits.

Oct. 5 — Samantha L. Beer, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks. Police said she wrote a check for $220 with insufficient funds.

Sept. 27 — Marlene S. Fischer, 61, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her June 30 on Route 19, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.192%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 27 — Corey G. Cowan, 30, of New Castle, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him July 1 on Route 19. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.058% with traces of amphetamine.

Sept. 20 — Amber M. Knox, 33, of Franklin, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after she crashed her vehicle Aug. 17 on Route 8, Mercer Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of methadone, alprazolam and methamphetamine in her system.

Sept. 20 — Jessica M. Effertz, 29, of Wexford, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her May 28 on Route 19, Jackson Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.195%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 20 — Joseph Wojciechowski, 43, of Fombell, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI and several traffic citations after police stopped him May 27 on Interstate 79, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.201%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
