Patricia L. Walters, 93, of North Canton, Ohio, formerly of Butler, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Aultman Compassionate.

She was born on Jan. 22, 1930, in Butler, to the late Andrew Potyka and the late Marie Hutchinson Potyka.

Patricia was a member of St. Andrews United Presbyterian Church, Butler. She sang in the choir and taught in Vacation Bible School as a former member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Patricia loved to cook, and one of her favorites was chicken noodle soup.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Steinberg of North Canton, Ohio; one son, William A. Walters of Butler; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Andrew (Pat) Potyka of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, William F. Walters, whom she married Oct. 23, 1948, and who passed away on April 4, 2018; one daughter, Nanci Lang; and one sister, Connie Walsh.

WALTERS — Friends of Patricia L. Walters, who died Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Merry Meloy officiating.

A private burial will take place at Brownsdale Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
