McSwaney

Roberta J. McSwaney, 85, of McCandless Township, formerly of Hampton Township and St. Barnabas in Richland Township, died Saturday evening at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Pittsburgh, April 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Householder Munch.

A homemaker, Mrs. McSwaney was an active member of the Bakerstown United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Pagniello of Mars and Kathy Lynch (John) of Pittsburgh; a son, Wayne McSwaney (Christine) of Moreno Valley, Calif.; and a grandson, Cole McSwaney Pagniello of Mars.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean McSwaney, who she married Aug. 16, 1952, and who died June 23, 2003; and by a brother, Richard Munch.
