Michael J. Marshall, 35, of Middlesex Township died suddenly Sunday.

He was born July 18, 1981, in Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

He was the beloved son of Roger and Karen Grau Marshall; loving fiancé of Tiffany E. Stolarz; proud father of his precious 11-week-old daughter, Abigail Rose Marshall; grandson of John and Mary Ellen McCune Grau and the late Roy “Cappy” and Coreen Geisler Marshall; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael was a 1999 graduate of Knoch High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Clarion University. While at Clarion, he was president of Phi Sigma Kappa earning Brother of the Year honors along with many awards and scholarships. He then spent several years in South Carolina working with AT&T until returning home and securing his Pennsylvania real estate license.

Michael ultimately went into business with his father at Marshall Flooring, working across the Pittsburgh region with Brace Flooring and Weaver Homes. He loved being at the beach in South Carolina, working out, movies, watching Steelers and Penguins with family, and devoting his life to his beautiful fiancée, Tiffany, and new baby girl, Abigail Rose.

MARSHALL — Friends of Michael J. Marshall, who died Sunday, May 21, 2017, will be received Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Life Christian Ministries, Saxonburg, with the Rev. Chris Marshall officiating.
