Beverly Ann Ferris Lynch, 78, of 114 Sparks Avenue, formerly of Lake Villa, Ill., South Bend, Ind., and Waterloo, Iowa, died Saturday.

Born Jan. 6, 1930, she was the daughter of Leo and Alice Ferris of Waterloo, Iowa.

She was a graduate of Michiana College of Commerce with an associate degree in accounting.

Beverly was a longtime member of the Catholic Church and recently attended St. Fidelis Parish in Meridian.

Her husband of 28 years, Richard Martin of South Bend, Ind., preceded her in death. She was also preceded by one brother, Richard Ferris of Iowa.

She is survived by six children who loved her dearly for all that she gave to them, Richard Leo and Patrick James Lynch, both of South Bend, Ind., Mary Catherine "Katy" Lynch of Boulder, Colo., Margaret Winifred "Peggy" Lynch Saunders of Myrtle Beach, S.C., John Francis (Amy) Lynch of Butler, and Anne Elisabeth Lynch Graybosch (Robert), of Lahaina Maui, Hawaii; one brother, Dwight Ferris of Newhartford, Iowa; seven grandchildren, some who affectionately called her "Gabby" and "Nana," Erin Marie, Patrick Marion, Joshua Thomas and Jessica Nicole Lynch, Deja Shanea and Anthony LaMar Saunders, and Zachary William Graybosch; and extended family and friends, Kristina Lee Graybosch, Franklin Thomas, Kasey Marie and Jessica Elizabeth Wilson, John and Linda Jackson, and Ron, Bernie, Mick, Linda and Bob Lynch.

<B>LYNCH</B> — Family and friends of Beverly Ann Ferris Lynch, who died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Meridian, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev. James Murphy, pastor, officiating.According to her wishes, she was cremated without a visitation.Cremation services were provided by <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.
