Slippery Rock Rotary is pleased to announce that Slippery Rock in Bloom — a major project of the Rotary since 2011 and the community of Slippery Rock — was awarded the Overall Impression Outstanding Achievement Award.

This award recognizes the seven areas of community participation in the America in Bloom Program, how we address each area and the program’s overall impression of Slippery Rock and its people. Our willingness to work together as a community to make this a phenomenal place to live, work, rear our families and enjoy life shined throughout their visit.

Aside from looking great, we were friendly, courteous and willing to show our town as it is.
