John M. Bombara

Bombara

John M. Bombara, 79, of Butler passed away at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Pittsburgh, to the late John Bombara and Rose Bombara.

Mr. Bombara was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a cabinet maker and was the president of John M. Bombara & Sons Kitchens.

He belonged to the Sample Borders Mountain Men Association, the Moraine Sportsmen Club and the American Legion.

John enjoyed hunting and gardening and was an avid stamp collector.

Mr. Bombara is survived by his loving spouse, Carmella LaGamba Bombara, who he married Sept. 27, 1958; four sons, David (Lisa) Bombara, Mark Bombara, Richard (Penny) Bombara and Ronald Bombara; five grandchildren, John Bombara, Angela (Andy) Hoehn, Bradley (Courtney) Bombara, Krista Bombara and Joshua Bombara; one great-grand-daughter, Lillian Grace Hoehn; one great-grand-son, Aiden Elijah Hoehn; one sister, Theresa Bombara; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

<B>BOMBARA </B>— Friends of John M. Bombara, who died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Visitation also will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church, 341 Muddy Creek Drive, Butler, where funeral services immediately will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
