Lois M. Andres
Lois M. Andres, 90, of Butler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 18, 1920, in Evans City, she was the daughter of the late Walter Spithaler and Sara Ramsey Spithaler.
Mrs. Andres worked for Castle Rubber in East Butler.
She was a member of the North Main Street Church of God and the Keenagers class at the church.
She will be deeply missed by all who have known her.
Mrs. Andres is survived by her husband, Paul Andres, whom she married April 15, 1943; her son, Dean P. Andres and his wife, Mona, of Butler; her daughter, Lynda Andres of Butler; her granddaughter, Tami Elliott of El Paso, Texas; her grandson, Terry Andres of Butler; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn Spithaler and his wife, June, of Valencia, and Ralph Spithaler and his wife, Marie, of Rochester; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends and family describe her as being the sweetest person they have ever known. She has always shown unconditional love, serving the Lord at all times.
<B>ANDRES</B> — Friends of Lois M. Andres, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Brown of North Main Street Church of God officiating.
