Thanks for Dance-A-Thon support

On behalf of Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church Christian Fellowship, the youths of our organization extend their sincere thanks to all who donated to the recent Dance-A-Thon for the youths of Ukraine, who are suffering from PTSD as this unprovoked war continues. $5,408 was delivered to the Ukrainian Cultural and Humanitarian Institute for the care and healing of hundreds of children through the “Warm Hands” program. We thank Stephen Halusczczak for bringing to our attention the need to support the Warm Hands program.

Psychologists, therapists, teachers, artists and aides have donated their time and talents to treat the youths so they may be better able to endure their struggles.

We especially want to thank DJ Marty and Kathy Tack, who provided oldies music on the day of our event. Not only did they donate their time and music, but they brought many “lovers of classic oldies” who generously donated to our fundraiser.

Our thanks to the Rev. Yurii Bobko, our spiritual adviser, and Halusczczak, who translated during a FaceTime with Warm Hands director Tetyana Myalkovska. More than 23,000 children have entered into encampments overseen by Myalkovska, where they benefit from psychosocial trauma rehabilitation.

Our heartwarming thanks to those who supported this fundraiser on behalf of these children.

Adriane Hassler, Caden Hassler and Marlena Hassler,

chairpersons of the Dance-A-Thon for the Youth of Ukraine, Butler
