Giant Eagle to merge fuelperks+ with newer loyalty program
Giant Eagle will discontinue its fuelperks+ program and switch customers to the store’s newer myPerks program in January, the company announced on its website.
Effective Jan. 25, Giant Eagle customers who use the fuelperks+ program will automatically move to the myPerks program.
Any perks earned under the fuelperks+ program will be able to be redeemed through myPerks.
“We are merging the best benefits of fuelperks+ and myPerks into a single loyalty program bringing you the fuelperks+ rewards you love, like free gas and up to 20% off groceries, are now also available in the myPerks program, but with the added choice of dollar rewards delivering great savings on groceries and gas at a time when you need it most,” the announcement reads.
Customers will continue to use the store’s existing loyalty card.
