Subfreezing temperatures to return Wednesday morning
After subfreezing temperatures all weekend, Butler experienced a reprieve with relatively tropical conditions on Monday and Tuesday.
However, forecasts are calling for the mercury to dip once again on Tuesday night going into Wednesday morning, with temperatures expected to fall to 26 degrees.
Temperatures are expected to rise into the high 50s or low 60s in the afternoon and remain in that range for the next three days.
No rain is expected until Friday afternoon. By the coming weekend, cooler temperatures are expected to return with three straight days of highs in the 40s, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service also reports that Butler County is under a “hazardous weather outlook” for potential fire weather on Wednesday, as low humidity and moderate winds are predicted.
