Thomas "Tim" Wiser, 77, of Fombell died Monday at his home.

Born May 14, 1928, in Harmony, he was the son of Delmont C. and Carrie Isabel Kristophel Wiser.

He co-founded Beth-el Builders along with his wife and a group of friends, and he worked for Roach & Ziegler in Zelienople for 35 years.

Mr. Wiser played semi-pro football, was instrumental in bringing the football program to Riverside High School in Ellwood City and coached for eight years in the Riverside Youth Football Program.

He was a member of the Faith Full Gospel Church of Zelienople and the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Shimer Wiser, whom he married Dec. 29, 1951; two daughters, Cathy L. Beige and her husband, Timothy, of Harmony and Emily Kelosky and her husband, Mike, of Ellwood City; two sons, Robert E. Wiser and his wife, Marita, of Maine and Thomas M. Wiser of New Hampshire.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, Jeremy Wiser and his wife, Jolene; Rosemary and Marguerite Wiser; Derek, Nikki and Jamie Wiser, Ben, Jon, Anna and Kaleb Beige; Chris, Zack, Carrie, Travis, Chance, Tracy and Darcy Kelosky and Brian Kelosky and his wife, Donielle; and eight great-grandchildren.

A brother, Robert E. Wiser, preceded him in death.

<B>WISER</B> — Friends of Thomas "Tom" Wiser, who died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gail Richard Davis, his church pastor, officiating.
