Deer hunting rifle season kicks off
Deer hunting rifle season kicked off statewide Saturday, Nov. 25. With the exception of Sunday, Dec. 3, the season will run through Dec. 9.
Hunters can harvest an antlered deer with a valid general hunting license at a cost of $20.97 for adult residents and $101.97 for adult nonresidents, according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Hunters with a valid antlerless deer license or Deer Management Assistance Program permit can harvest an antlerless deer.
Licenses can be bought directly from a license issuing agent or online at huntfish.pa.gov.
