Mildred “Mid” Deloras Clicquennoi
Mildred “Mid” Deloras Clicquennoi, 97, of Renfrew passed away on Sunday in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
Born Oct. 7, 1920, in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Louise Napotnik Sinkovich.
Mildred was a member St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, PTA Catholic Daughters, the cooking extension, the quilting club and a volunteer provider for Children and Youth Services.
She loved reading, especially history, drawing, cooking, baking and tending to her flower garden.
Mildred's life was an example of love and sacrifice for her family, serving her family as a caregiver and nurse, especially in the life of her daughter, Gail Ann.
She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
Mildred leaves behind to cherish her memory her three daughters, Ellie Lojek of Butler, Gail Ann Clicquennoi at home in Renfrew, and Linda McCarren and her husband, Michael, of Renfrew; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Clicquennoi Jr., who passed away Jan. 17, 2001; her son, Samuel Clicquennoi III; and her siblings, Edward Sinkovich, Pauline Bartincic and Flo Werner.
CLICQUENNOI — Friends of Mildred “Mid” Deloras Clicquennoi, who died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, with the Rev.
