Students at St. Wendelin School in Oakland Township recently collected toys for charity in memory of the late Carol Mitch, a St. Wendelin School alumna.

The toys were gathered and donated to Toys for Tots in memory of Mitch, who passed away Nov. 11, 2012.

“Carol was an enormous supporter of St. Wendelin School and Parish and any charity that helped children,” principal JoLynn Clouse said. “Our school adopted an annual toy drive in her memory in hopes that local children can experience the joy of the Christmas season.”
