C. Russell Dunlap
C. Russell "Russ" Dunlap, 55, of Butler died at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1953, in Butler, the son of Charles L. Dunlap and the late Geraldine Patton.
He was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School, and he also graduated from Penn Tech in Pittsburgh.
He enjoyed riding his yellow Honda motorcycle and was a Steelers fan.
Mr. Dunlap was a veteran of the Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.
He was a system administrator for the Butler Eagle.
Surviving are his wife, Lori (Smith) Dunlap, who he married Nov. 25, 1996; a son, Shane E. Dunlap of Harmony; a stepdaughter, Courtney Peate of Worthington; a stepson, Chad Peate of Butler; his father, Charles L. Dunlap of Butler; a granddaughter, Alexis; a sister, Diana Reeder of Florida; a brother, Robert Dunlap of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Patton.
