Rena Tucker, 54, of Butler passed away unexpectedly Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Rena was born on Feb. 10, 1959, in Birmingham, Ala., to the late George Salivonchik and the late Margaret “Maggie” Gilbert Salivonchik.

She was a graduate of Moniteau High School.

Rena is survived by her husband, David Tucker, who she married on March 20, 2011; her daughter, Monica Brooke (Troy) Norris of Ohio; her son, David Lee Shoup of Butler; her three grandchildren, her four step-grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her two sisters, Kim Salivonchik of Pittsburgh and Vicki Sudduth of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her brother.

TUCKER — The friends of Rena Tucker, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Mary Kitchen of the East Butler Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family.
