Grinder, Kruth
Melanie Grinder of Butler and Robert Kruth of Saxonburg were united in marriage Oct. 1 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. John Nanz officiated. A reception followed at the Greystone Fields.
The bride is the daughter of John and Mary Jo Grinder of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert and Carol Kruth.
The honor attendant was Taylor McLaughlin of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Alison Loeffler of Butler, Lauren Iovanella of Atlanta and Christina McCaskey of New Castle.
The flower girl was Erica Hunsaker of Huntersville, N.C.
Performing the duties of best man was James Morrow of Sarver. Ushers included Paul Nordeman of Philadelphia, Bradley Nicholson of Washington, D.C., and Brian DiNardo of Cincinnati.
The ring bearer was Uriah Shields of Butler.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2009 graduate of Penn State University.
She is employed by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Rochester, N.Y.
The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School in 2005 and Penn State University in 2009. He is employed by Johnson and Johnson in Rochester.
Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple is making their home in Rochester.
